Roland Gordon is chief financial officer for Noland Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of WinWholesale Inc. headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. In this position, Gordon directs the overall financial plans, accounting practices and financial reporting for Noland. He also serves as the WinWholesale liaison to Noland Company and is a member of the Noland Leadership Council.
Noland, with headquarters in Newport News, Virginia, has more than 100 branches in 13 Southeastern states. The branches and nearly 450 WinWholesale local companies across the United States distribute plumbing supplies; heating and air conditioning materials; electrical equipment; industrial pipes, valves and fittings; pumps; waterworks supplies; and fasteners for the residential and commercial construction markets.
Gordon joined WinWholesale in 1999 as a manager with Dapsco Inc. (now WinWholesale Group Services) in Reno, Nevada. The Reno office provided complete business services for Win local companies in its geographic area. From Reno, Gordon took a position as the risk manager with Dapsco Inc. in Dayton, Ohio.
Following WinWholesale’s acquisition of Noland Company in 2005, Gordon was appointed chief financial officer and liaison to the subsidiary.
Before joining WinWholesale, Gordon was employed by the New York Life Insurance Company in Reno and provided case consultant services on the Field Technology Information System, the system used by all company agents.
Gordon received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an accounting major from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. He holds a number of professional certifications and designations, including certified public accountant, certified management accountant, certified internal auditor and certified fraud examiner.
