Monte Salsman is chief operating officer for WinWholesale Inc., headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. As COO, Salsman oversees the support operations of more than 450 Win local companies across the United States.
WinWholesale owns a majority equity stake in the companies and also owns a subsidiary, Noland Company, which has more than 100 branches mainly in the Southeast. The companies and branches distribute plumbing supplies; heating and air conditioning materials; electrical equipment; industrial pipes, valves and fittings; pumps, waterworks supplies and fasteners. WinWholesale continues to grow by offering unique entrepreneurial opportunities in an industry supporting the residential and commercial construction markets.
Salsman joined WinWholesale in November 2006 from Johnstone Supply in Portland, Oregon, where he was senior vice president, sales and marketing for the $1 billion distributor of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Prior to that, he held operations positions of increasing responsibility with WESCO Distribution, Platt Electric Supply and Westinghouse Electric Supply.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Oregon State University and a Master of Science degree in marketing and a Master of Business Administration degree from Marylhurst University.
