Jack Johnston is chief financial officer and directs overall financial plans, accounting practices and financial reporting for WinWholesale Inc. and the Win Group of Companies headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. He is a member of the WinWholesale Inc. Board of Directors and plays a key role in the organization’s future development and progression.
WinWholesale owns a majority equity stake in nearly 450 Win local companies across the United States and also owns a subsidiary, Noland Company, which has more than 100 branches mainly in the Southeast. The companies and branches distribute plumbing supplies; heating and air conditioning materials; electrical equipment; industrial pipes, valves and fittings; pumps; waterworks supplies; and fasteners. WinWholesale continues to grow by offering unique entrepreneurial opportunities in an industry supporting the residential and commercial construction markets.
Johnston joined the company in 1977 as an accountant with Dapsco Inc. (now WinWholesale Group Services), the organization providing complete shared business services for WinWholesale local companies. He became Dapsco Inc. treasurer in 1980, and in 1998 was named president. Johnston led Dapsco as it delivered accounting, finance, payroll, data processing, software product development, fleet management, property management and human resources services to the independently-owned Win local companies across the United States.
In 2005, a restructure formed the current WinWholesale Inc. Following the restructure, Johnston was appointed to his current position as chief financial officer.
Johnston is a graduate of Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is a certified public accountant.
