Ward Allen is vice president, Finance, for WinWholesale Inc. headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. As vice president, Finance, Allen has numerous responsibilities, including acquisition evaluation and negotiation, balance sheet and capital management, credit activities, banking relationship management and fleet management. In addition, Allen is president of Noland Properties, overseeing real estate acquisition and disposition.
WinWholesale owns a majority equity stake in nearly 450 Win local companies across the United States and also owns a subsidiary, Noland Company, which has more than 100 branches mainly in the Southeast. The companies and branches distribute plumbing supplies; heating and air conditioning materials; electrical equipment; industrial pipes, valves and fittings; pumps, waterworks supplies and fasteners. WinWholesale continues to grow by offering unique entrepreneurial opportunities in an industry supporting the residential and commercial construction markets.
Allen joined WinWholesale in November 1999 in his current position. Prior to that, he was with Fifth Third Bank of Western Ohio for 19 years. In his last position with Fifth Third he was senior vice president, Commercial Lending.
Allen is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and in Economics.
He is a former chairman of the board of Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Ohio.
